Seasonal Style Series: What to Wear in Spring 2019

The time has come to start planning your spring 2019 wardrobe. It may not be time to put away your coats and boots yet, but you may want to start pressing those sundresses. As days grow longer, color palettes become brighter. Put away the dark colors and thick fabrics, and go shopping for sorbet- and Easter-inspired colors. Spring 2019 is all about textures. Leave silky-smooth trends behind and go shopping for interesting accents that will complement any outfit. Crochets, fish nets, feathers, fringes, ruffles and frills in bold colors or metallics are musts this season. Think about pairing them with contrasting fabrics and colors for an eye-popping effect.

Tops, Bottoms and Dresses

Maxi dresses are still in, and why shouldn’t they? Instead of the traditional floral or bohemian dress, 2019 is bringing two-toned maxi dresses in the same colors mentioned above.

As for tops and bottoms, most of this season’s fashion continues remembering the ‘80s and ‘90s. Basic items like shorts, blazers, shirts and suits are a trip down memory lane.
